It IS an ex-library book The book is in very good condition but for the library markings, and it has no dust jacket, but neither does it have any external library markings. It's 10 1/2" by 8 3/16" and has about 20 glossy pages with a poem and black-and-white photographs. "Goodbye, River, Goodbye is a song to a river called Battenkill. A captivating pictorial dust jacket, in red and yellow, over original green cloth boards. Gilt blocked titles on spine, which have dulled over time. Black and white decorations and full page illustrations by Russell Waterhouse. Pages remain clean and bright, with firm binding. There is little tanning, with a dusting of foxing to the top edge of text block. A small stain can be seen to the fore-edge. Boards remain in good condition, with minor wear around the edges and crushing to spine ends. There is some water staining along some board edges, but this does little harm to the overall appearance. Clipped dust jacket has only small tears and chipping to the edges, mainly at spine ends. There is some tanning to the spine and edges. Long stain along bottom edge on back panel, slightly outlined with a red tint.
