Included are "Manners Can Be Fun" (October 26, 1937 - 9th printing), and "Grammar Can Be Fun" (October 26, 1937 - 8th printing). Published by Frederick A. Stokes Company in New York. Both books are inscribed and signed by Leaf with sitck-figure drawings on the front end papers. Both books feature red and black & white drawings by Leaf on nearly every page. "Manners Can Be Fun" uses simple text and stick-figure drawings to teach kids the basics of etiquette and social behavior. Opening with the line "Having good manners is really just living with other people pleasantly," the book explains why being polite makes life better for everyone.
