Front paste down tanned, deckle edged pages show slight foxing but it's minimal internally. Signed by Kang in green ink on FFEP and dated 13 April 1942. The Grass Roof is thought of as the first Korean-American novel. Kang's early success brought him into contact with literary luminaries of the day, and his book East Goes West is now part of Penguin's Classics series. Uncommon signed.
