Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. 1st Edition. Small octavo, pp. 243. INSCRIBED by the author on the free front endpaper to G.S.T. Cavanagh, late Emeritus Professor of Medical Literature at Duke University; Curator of Duke's Trent Collection; author; and antiquarian bookseller. Book is Good and sound in the publisher's textured black cloth with spine lettering gilt. Color illustrated dust jacket is Poor only, with perimeter rubbing and chipping, discoloration and abrasions on rear panel, and a 3/4 inch loss at foot of spine. Jacket protected now from further wear by a new sheet of archival mylar. Inscribed by Author(s).
