April 1916 in La Jolla, Kalifornien; ? 12. /// Standort Wimregal PKis-Box10-U034 Sprache: Englisch Gewicht in Gramm: 10.

Bookplate of Mr Frederick Bason, with his London address./ Frederick Bason (1907-1973) was an English bookseller, writer and broadcaster most famously known for his collection of diaries that were published in four volumes in the early 1950s. He found his vocation in buying and selling rare, second hand books. It was through his experience, in finding that publications had a much greater re-sale value with the author's signature, that a lifelong obsession with autographs began. His essays featured in The Saturday Book 1945-1972, presenting his work on the same platform as major literary and artistic figures of postwar Britain. Very good. Signedes.

Condition: Good. Original Agfa Color photograph on Fujichrome paper. 30.6 x 20.3 cm. Titled and signed on the verso in black ink by the photographer.L'Est Républicain - Nov. 04, 2012: [Article on Alain Cinquini].It all started when he came across Yves Montand, Paul Newman and their respective wives. "I went to ask them to take a picture. Newman didn't want to. Simone Signoret told me that it was good to have asked? Montand understood that I would be there, at the exit of the restaurant, and practically organized a session by showing the mountain to Paul Newman. ». Alain Cinquini takes his first photo of stars; that he does not exhibit for several days. It was on the advice of a friend that he finally made contact with the Gamma agency. The beginning of a great career. In a quarter of a century, Alain Cinquini will take between 80,000 and 100,000 shots of the greatest stars, becoming one of the essential independent photographers in the south of France and Monaco. He will maintain privileged relations with stars cinema and artists like Armand or César, among others. In short, an exemplary career during which he will never steal an image and will never violate the privacy of his "clients". Quite the opposite of the paparazzi as we understand it today: "I have a way of working, with respect for people, probably because I was brought up that way. Some of my colleagues sometimes wondered how I managed to get certain photos. It was simply because I was seen well, that I was doing my job correctly. And with correction? Having a good reputation, in this environment, it counts, it opens doors.L'Est Républicain - 04 nov. Vintage oversize borderless reference photograph of actor Gregory Peck as Brig. Gen. Frank Savage from the 1949 film, warmly INSCRIBED by Peck to camerman Albert Myers: "For Al - All good wishes and thanks - Greg Peck." British born Albert Myers, usually credited as Al Myers, was a camera operator and camera crew member in Hollywood for over 50 years beginning in the late 1920s. He is credited in 30 films from 1927 to 1978, and assuredly worked on many more films uncredited during that time. His credits include "The Virginian" (1946), "Carmen Jones" (1954), "The Man with the Golden Arm" (1955), and "The Defiant Ones" (1958). Based on the 1948 novel by screenwriters Sy Bartlett and Beirne Lay Jr. During World War II, a new commander takes over an air force unit stationed in England and whips them into fighting shape. Veterans praised the film as an accurate portrayal of their bombing experiences during WWII-unsurprising, as many of the battles and characters in the film were based on real-life people and experiences. Winner of two Academy Awards, including Best Supporting Actor for Dean Jagger, and nominated for two more. Shot on location in Ozark, Alabama, Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Oxfordshire, England. 11 x 14 inches. Good to Very Good, with chips at three corners, and a small closed tear to the extremities, and a two-inch closed tear at the left margin (see image). National Film Registry. Signed.
