"Revised Second Edition" stated, originally published 1941, American Guide Series - light toning/soiling/foxing to edges of text block - rubbing to top/bottom edges of spine, bottom edges of boards and corners of boards - toning with 2 small specks of foxing to rear end papers, price-clipped dj now enclosed in mylar wrap shows edge wear, toning, soiling, foxing with darkening to spine and fold to rear flap - 3/8" and 1/2" tears with 7/8" wide x 1/2" deep piece missing with further 1/2" tear to top left edge and 3/4" tear to bottom left edge of front panel - 3/16" and 1/4" tears with 2 chips along top edge with 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" tears along bottom edge of rear panel - 13/4" wide x 3/8" deep piece missing to top edge of spine (beginning top right of rear panel and ending top left of front panel) with 2 small chips to bottom edge of spine - two 3/8" tears and small chip to top of fold rear panel to flap - chip with further 1/2" tear to top and small chip to bottom of fold front panel to flap - small piece missing to bottom corner of front flap, illustrated with black & white photographs through the text and a map to front end papers.
