Black cloth binding, gilt crest to front board and gilt lettering to spine. Marking and scuffing to binding, a little discolouration to edges of boards but reasonably clean. Signs of wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges. Binding reasonably firm. Upper page edges gilt, fore-edges cut and lower edges deckled. Scuffing to edges with some browning to lower and fore-edges and some foxing to fore-edges. Slight tanning. Some foxing to endpapers, the odd mark to page surfaces but otherwise generally clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information. xv + 119 pp. R. Douglas Strachan (illustrator).
