The jacket is chipped at the top of the spine, and there is a substantial tear at the tail. there is a substantial tear on the back cover extending from the bottom edge to almost mid-way up the cover. There is a tear of about 1cm to the upper-edge of the cover and another smaller one nearer the fore-edge. There is one of about 0.5cm in the middle of the upper-edge of the rear cover. the bottom fore-edge corner is missing at the rear and there is a substantial tear almost equal the size of that opposite extending from it. There are also tears and chips to the other corners. There is some foxing and some shelf-wear along the edges. There is a piece of tape on the inside of the cover at the base of the spine. The book is in Good condition. The edges and spine are a little bumped. There is some foxing to the text-block, which extends only in minor fashion onto the pages. On the front pastedown there is a number circled in pencil. This circling extends partially onto the front flap. Text and images are crisp and clear.
