Holograph note dated July 23, 1944 and signed by author, editor and biographer C.T. Copeland. The short note, on a plain 5 x7" sheet, is written in another (secretarial?)hand and concerns Copeland's subscription to the Literary Supplement of the London Times. It is boldly signed by Copeland. C.T.Copeland was best know as the editor of "The Letters of Thomas Carlyle" and for his biography of British actor Edwin Booth. Note is fine and clean with a single mailing fold across the center.
