We bought this wonderfully executed drawing directly from the artist at a Comic-Con around 2000. It is the final preliminary to the color rendition that appears in the book. I much prefer this to the final version. In the coloring process, the image lost much of the detail and shading that make this piece so remarkable and lovable. 0. Signed by Illustrator(s).
