Consists of genealogical sketch of the family, brief biography, text of poems she wrote, including, "Valley Forge Arbutus", history of the National Flower Agitation, her work with the DAR, followed by the text of the Catalogue. Margaret B. Harvey was the daughter of James Boyle Harvey and Julia Payne of Lower Merion in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Margaret was an artist, wrote poetry, and was a promoter of the Valley Forge historical site. She also organized the Merion and Alaska Chapters of the D. A. R. (Daughters of the American Revolution).
