Margaret B. Harvey was the daughter of James Boyle Harvey and Julia Payne of Lower Merion in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Margaret was an artist, wrote poetry, and was a promoter of the Valley Forge historical site. She also organized the Merion and Alaska Chapters of the D. A. R. (Daughters of the American Revolution).
