A continuation of Johanna Spyri's beloved Heidi, written by her translator Charles Tritten, this 1938 Grosset & Dunlap edition was the first English publication of the sequel. Heidi is here seen as a young woman, teaching and growing into adulthood. Richly illustrated with color plates by Jean Coquillot, this is a scarce early edition with touching provenance.
