13 x 8, paper browned overall folds, some edge wear and separation at folds, signature a bit light. Concerning the importing of 150 bags of pepper from Sumatra in the Ship Hope. Dearborn was a Revolutionary War hero, a Congressman, Secretary of War under Jefferson, and Senior Major General in the US Army during the War of 1812. Document also signed by James Lovell as "Naval Officer.".
