Condition: Good. 1951. No edition remarks. 249 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth covered boards with gilt. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Boards have moderate shelf wear with some rubbing, fraying and corner bumping. Some moderate sunning and tanning, particularly to spine. Book has slight forward lean. Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled.

Brysson Morrison was a pen name of Agnes Brysson Inglis Morrison (1903-1986), a Scottish writer of biographies, novels and romantic fiction. The Hidden Fairing is a novel that presents one man's moral choices, and their consequences, against the background of a society impressed by material success and divided by class and religious prejudices. The book is bound in the original brown cloth covered boards with gold titling on the spine. The case of the book is in very good condition with light bumping to the spine ends. The contents are tight and clean with light foxing to the endpapers, half-title page and last few pages, and the edges of the text block. There is no inscription. The unclipped dustwrapper has shelf wear with some soiling and light foxing. Small pieces are missing from the corner tips and spine corners. There are tears of about 3/4" on the top front and bottom rear spine edges and smaller tears on the top rear and bottom front corners. The tears have been repaired on the reverse with document repair tape.

Condition: Good. Light wear to boards. Content is clean with light age tone. Light spotting to page ends. DJ with some edge wear, tears and age tone.
