Fifty-four issues were published in total. Louis Austin Warren (1885-1983) was a minister who spent his lifetime researching and writing about Abraham Lincoln and his family and was Director of the Lincoln National Life Foundation. About the ancestors of Abraham Lincoln who had settled in Hingham, Massachusetts.

Neatly written at top edge of titles page is the name Mary Courtney. Stamped to top edge of the opposite side of title page states, "Presented in Memory of Mrs. Mary Courtney."
