Add to basketCondition: Good. Circa 1870s. Title, and within, seventeen panel concertina of silhouette illustrations. Closed, 11 by 7.5 cm. Stretching to about 112 cm in width. Each illustration accompanied by four lines of rhymed verse. This was a popular humorous poem by G. Guthknecht, but we could find no other versions of this edition, a…nd there is only one institutional copy that seems to have some resemblance to this -- it is probably in a concertina format. The cover is chipped, with the worst by the spine fold. Repair with archival tape to reattach what was the loose cover. Age toning, occasional soiling.
