De prentbijbel wordt vaak naar hem genoemd ook al werkte hij niet mee aan deze eerste uitgave. Contemporary red morocco Leather with 6 raised bands, Folio H. 44 x B. 28,5 x W. 3 cm. The printbible by Ysbrand van Hamelsveld which contains a titlepage, index and 126 folio sized leaves with 2 engravings on each. The prints are engraved by Jacob Folkema, Pieter Tanje? and Simon Fokke. In the year 1791 the printbible was published with accompanying descriptions by Van Hamelsveld. Edge wear on bindings with both spines partly detached, but still holding. Lower part of front joint of first volume cracked over 3 inches. Upper part of back joint of second volume cracked (3"). Lower part of calf on front cover of first volume partly detached but still present. Corners bumped and rubbed. Some staining and chipping on endpapers. Outer margin of paper partly rippled. Text in Dutch. Bindings in overall poor, interior in good+ to very good condition.
