Text bilingual in English and Hebrew on opposing pages, printed on India-paper. XXII pages introduction and index in English at rear. Contains the Torah, the Prophets and the Holy Writings. Jerusalem bible, though not explicitly stated. Original black leather housed in solid silver binding by Rafi Landau, depicting a stone wall with Moses holding the ten commandments, framed in a debossed arc (5 x 3"), with rays of light (Karnaim) emanating from his head on front; the back cover also with a wall and a framed, unused cartouche in the center, with the Lions of Juda on each side. Both inside solid silver boards with three identical silver marks. One depicting two lions facing each other, separated by an L, stylized like a menorah, a second stamp with the number 925, indicating the silver level, and a third with the letters j and d. Slight indentation at top joint of silver back cover. Starting at title page at rear with following few pages slightly bent at top of foredge.
