Paperback. Condition: Very Good. One of the most widely recognized teachings of Jesus is to love your neighbor as yourself. Unfortunately, many Christians seem to ignore this extraordinarily laudable exhortation when it comes to their homosexual neighbors. Hate Thy Neighbor is a must-have resource for people wishing to defend themselves, their friends, or their family against those who misuse the Bible to condemn homosexuality.…

Paperback. Condition: Good. Adam grew up in a typical Italian-American community, with a great family and wonderful friends. But for more than a decade, he desperately hid the most painful secret of his life. Start With One details Adam's journey through understanding his own sexuality, the struggles of coming out to his loved ones, and his religious and moral conflicts. This heartfelt story depicts what it takes to be true to oneself and others while battling deeply rooted cultural prejudices. Adam reveals the process of breaking free from society's chains, which forced him to believe that he couldn't identify as both a gay male and a Christian. He tackles the monumental social, political, and professional changes in the world and himself. Start With One provides a vital call for human equality while embodying true and unconditional love. In an effort to help spread awareness into one of the most misunderstood and prejudiced topics in society, for each book that is sold, one free copy will be donated. The donated books will be distributed along with a list of LGBT resources to high schools, churches, homeless shelters and organizations nationwide. If even one person's life can be changed, the work will have been well worth the effort.…

Paperback. Condition: Fair. This book provides a biblical and constitutional defense against the persecution of Christians who do not support homosexuality (homosexual acts) and explains why their non-endorsement is a question of faith and religion, not of bigotry and homophobia. Dodds's intent is not to castigate those who identify themselves as gay or to inflame emotions, but to present a convincing argument as to why many Christians believe they cannot support the LGBTQ lifestyle. There are Christians in America who have been persecuted (fired, jailed, sued, maligned, physically threatened, expelled etc.) for not supporting, approving of, or participating in the affirmation of homosexuality. Dodds emphasizes that there is a difference between tolerance and support, but that the line between the two has been blurred causing many Christians to be unjustly accused of intolerance and discrimination. While the main focus of most books on either side of this issue is whether or not homosexuality is right or wrong from a biblical standpoint, this book focuses primarily on the injustice of persecuting Christians who believe that the Bible says homosexuality is morally wrong and thus do not condone it. The book supports the position that says it is reasonable, when taking into account the Scriptures that address homosexuality, for Christians to believe that homosexuality is immoral and that it is therefore a violation of their constitutional rights of freedom of religion and freedom of speech if forced to go against this belief or if persecuted for upholding it.TABLE OF CONTENTSPreface. i Introduction.  iiiChapter One . 1Sex is a Privilege. Not an EntitlementSexual Immorality Defined  . 2Sexual Immorality Identified . 5Premarital heterosexual sex. 5Polygamy. 11Adultery. 13Incest. 17Prostitution. 22Bestiality. 28Homosexuality. 30Marriage according to the Bible . 33Main Point . 37Conclusion. 37Chapter Two . 39The Scriptural Arguments.A Detailed LookThe Six Passages 40Leviticus 18:22.    41Leviticus 20:13. 46Romans 1:18-32. 501 Corinthians 6:9-11. 55Genesis 19:1-25. 581 Timothy 1:8-11.  64Main Point.    65Conclusion .  65Chapter Three . 68Popular Gay Affirming Arguments. Paperback. Condition: Very Good. An Ignatius Press Reprint Ignatius Press Reprints are identical in content with the most recent print edition of the original title. In order to keep important titles available at reasonable prices, we reprint them digitally in small quantities. We use high quality, acid-free paper, but the books are not smyth-sewn as is customary with our offset press print editions. This book addresses the complex moral and pastoral questions involved in both homosexual orientation and activity, including an analysis of lifestyles in accord with the Christian Gospel, and those running counter to the Christian perception. Fr. Harvey, a pioneer in the pastoral care of homosexual persons through his organization Courage, gives a comprehensive view of the issues involved in homosexuality. This book explodes two popular myths, namely, that the homosexual condition is due primarily to genetic factors; and that, once one realizes he has a homosexual orientation, he should resign himself to this condition forever. Harvey shows that many reputable therapists have provided empirical evidence that people with a homosexual condition can have a change of orientation to the heterosexual condition. He explores various pastoral programs for homosexual persons and, with the contributions from other experts, this book provides an extensive study of the possibility of change of orientation. This book offers not only good advice, wise counsel and intelligent discussion, but also the bright light of hope and fresh insights from some of the most positive Christian thinking in a complex and sensitive area. Fr. Benedict Groeschel, CFRA thoughtful and inspirational book. Founded on solid psychological principles, with special understanding of a life dedicated to chastity.Joseph Nicolosi, Ph.D., Author, Healing Homosexuality. …
