Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. A wonderfully inscribed copy of one of Judson's popular Peter Styles mysteries. Inscribed to a Tom or Tim Peacock "In gratitude for his having made the 1969 season at the Sharon Playhouse a particularly pleasant one". The Sharon Playhouse was a project started by Judson himself in Connecticut. It is unclear who this Mr. Peacock is, but the inscription shows a close relationship, whether working or personal. Also, oddly scarce a book, compared to some of the other titles, though I am unsure why. A nice example, as well, of an item signed before he won the Mystery Writers of America "Grand Master" award. Octavo in red cloth, 184 pages, pictorial jacket. Satisfaction guaranteed. Additional photos always available on request. Shipped in a fitted, padded box. Inscribed by Author(s).
