The standard history of this three mile long branch line, in use 1874-1951, including the coastal tramway, 1891-1922. Both these enterprises were truncated in terms of their original aims, the tramway running into Folkestone and the branch line to Folkestone Harbour as part of a new route to the continent. Another well researched work from local railway historian, Brian Hart (b.1949), of which few were printed. Long out of print.
