ICEWORLD, Gnome Press, 1953, first edition, irregular shaped stain along part of upper margin of rear cover extending down about 5mm maximum (mostly much, much less), another such stain along bottom of front covers and base of spine measuring 5mm to 15mm, else near fine in near fine dust-wrapper with some light rubbing to the rear dust-wrapper panel. Signed by the author using both his real name and nom-de-plume. Along with ICEWORLD in Astounding for October thru December, 1951, Street & Smith, 3 volumes, about very good in wraps. The true first edition of this novel.

Creasing to head and tail of spine and chip missing at top edge of back cover near spine. White background of back cover is soiled/rubbed. Jacket is not price-clipped and is mylar-protected. Green buckram boards showing some foxing/soiling, corner a bit bumped, some shelfwear to edges. Interior age-toned.
