Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Monument Reeks No. 31. Dr 'Piet' Meyer was a leading Afrikaner intellectual who was Chairman of the influential Afrikaner Broederbond from 1960 to 1972 and who went on to become Chairman of the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC). The book is inscribed on the ffep to one 'Johan Piek' and although it cannot be ascertained who this was it might be significant that this publication was also part of the "Pieke-Reeks". As was usual with the Monument Reeks this volume has yapp-edged oversized wrappers in a VG state. The 61pp. of text are unmarked but a little age-toned and there is a one-page ad for other books in the Monument series. Interesting association copy and exceedingly scarce. Inscribed by Author(s).
