Softcover. Condition: neu. 1. Auflage. Schriftenreihe innovative betriebswirtschaftliche Forschung und Praxis, Band 340 194 pages. Cloud computing is a hot topic in recent years. A lot has been published regarding the benefits of cloud computing, problems concerning security issues and legal regulations as well as data privacy. "Implementing Cloud Computing" starts out from what to consider when implementing cloud services. It names necessary and mandatory criteria as internally and externally imposed demands that might result in the insight that implementing cloud services is beneficial in a given situation. Hereafter it focuses on management decisions that follow on the resolution to introduce cloud services in a company. These implementation decisions deal with appropriate implementation strategies and supporting measures. Therefore cloud computing itself as well as different implementation strategies and support measures are introduced. Design science is chosen as a research paradigm and theoretically expounded. Hereafter 860 case studies regarding cloud service implementation projects are encoded an analyzed. The design science approach is utilized to iteratively develop a model as an artifact, allowing the suggestion of strategies and measures as the recommended means of supporting the implementation of cloud computing services. This enables giving recommendation for action regarding different types of cloud implementation projects within different company settings with reference to proper implementation strategies as well as supporting measures that could ease the transition of one"s employees to the newly introduced cloud service.
