    An instructions booklet, most likely issued as part of a promotion from a women's magazine, for "making silk purses" by knitting or crochet. Includes occasional adverts and prices for "knitting outfits", the metal hardware that can be used for clasps. Also offers instructions for making a folding needle case from perforated cardboard and embroidery. There is also a handkerchief sachet, postage-stamp case, flower pot cover, and bookmark. Includes prices for beads for trimming on the lower wrapper recto. Single vol. (4.75" by 6.5"), pp. [20], illus., in original printed wrps. Good. Toned with some nicks, stains, short tears, light surface tear to first leaf.
