Black paper covered boards with gilt lettering to spine, in a dustjacket printed in red with black and white lettering. Very slight bumps to extremties of jacket, with some very light rubbing to tail of spine and bottom corners of jacket. Slight rubbing to bottom corners of boards. Interior is clean and unmarked. Binding firm. . Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good.

Condition: Good. 1961. First Edition. 277 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over black cloth. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Binding remains firm. Minor pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some mild marking and tanning. Unclipped jacket has moderate edge wear with some small tears, chipping and creasing. Some mild rubbing and marking to surfaces.

Slight cracking to hinges, with exposed netting, pages remain attached. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Slight crushing to spine ends. Unclipped jacket has heavy edgewear with areas of loss, heavy tears, chips, and creasing. Water staining to edges. Red marking to inside spine and front panel.

hardcover. Condition: Good. First Edition (1961). Only Book 3 included. Ex-library copy with the usual stamps and some residue from removed stickers and labels. Dust jacket has a mylar plastic cover which shows some scuffing and light edge wear. Dust jacket itself shows some light discoloration from age as well as some scuffing, rubbing and edge wear including some bumping and rubbing. Book itself also shows some edge wear and rubbing and pages are browned from age and show some small brownish marks on page edges.
