A comprehensive report for an invention by a Mrs. Jean Watson called the "Tylerloo," a "combination exerciser/toy for people of all ages, [which] consists of rubberized or plastic tire which is guided and maneuvered with dual sticks." The report begins with a letter from American Inventors Corp. informing Watson of their decision NOT to reject her invention, but with "no guarantees that our company will ever sell or license [her] invention to industry." This is followed by two sections: an in-depth analysis, which includes an introduction, product features, illustrations, manufacturing, marketing, proposal and invention status, and a lengthy marketing report. We could find no indication that the toy was ever produced, which given the product's description and illustrations is hardly a surprise. Still, an insightful look at the conceptual and invention process. Brown boards stamped in gilt to front board; screw binding, [ca. 57] leaves printed rectos only, with dividers and tabs, illustrations. Rubbing to gilt, some foxing to pages, else Near Fine.
