Fictionalised story of Barbara Thompson (c1831-1912), wrecked on the cutter America, off Entrance Island in 1844 and of her rescue by Boroto and acceptance by Piaquai, chief of Kowraregas (Kaurareg People), as his reincarnated daughter; her life as a member of the tribe. She was rescued by Captain Owen Stanley and HMS Rattlesnake in 1849. (Trove).
