PHYLLIS NEILSON-TERRY (1892-1977), who portrays Eleanor of Aquitaine in this series that saw the debut of Roger Moore, signs large and bold in blue fineline and dates it June 12 [1975] at upper right, adding "Yours Sincerely" in black ballpoint at upper right. Laid in is her original transmittal envelope and the appropriate "Sandglass" issue.

Fine in somewhat shelf-worn and stained slipcase. ? Copy #1290 of 1500 numbered copies, signed by the designer Allen Lewis. Lewis was born in Mobile, Alabama in 1873 and studied at the Ecole des Beaus Arts in Paris. He returned to New York in 1902, where he became a member of Alfred Steiglitz's circle and achieved recognition for his photographs and colored woodcuts. In 1915 he won a Gold Medal at the Panama Pacific Exposition in San Francisco.
