Original orange cloth, backstrip title and front cover title & illustration in black. Backstrip a little sunned, a little worn at head and foot, and lightly marked at foot. Outer corners of covers lightly rubbed; outer corners of front cover also bumped, slightly affecting contents throughout at lower outer corners only. Rear cover with bruise / indentation of length 15mm and width up to 4mm. No dust jacket. Edges of text-block age-toned, fore- & lower edges also a little handling-marked. Endpapers a little unsightly, being selotape-marked, grazed at pastedowns where selotape removed, a little dust- & handling-marked, and a little toned; front flyleaf also with two diagonal creases of lengths 220mm and 90mm. Minor faint dampstain confined to margins at lower inner corners throughout, no text or illustration affected. One leaf - pages 101/102 - with a number of untidy creases of variable lengths along upper parts of fore-edge margins and across upper outer corner, some intrusion into text; loss of roughly-rectangular segment of dimensions about 35x12mm confined to margins at the same corner. Contents otherwise with occasional creased corners and/or corner tips, and a few light handling marks. Binding bright and holding firmly, contents tight and generally clean. Reasonably GOOD copy.
