Over 50 Riley poems include: Dream March; Little Orphant annie; The Raggedy Man; Dream-March; The Bear-Story; The Clover; The Old Swimmin'Hole; When the Frost in on the Punkin; A Monument for the Soldiers; The Name of Old Glory; Granny; Babyhood; Never Talk Back; Anselmo; Nothin' to say; The Old Man and Jim; The Prayer Perfect; The Hoosier Folk-Child; etc. Riley's love of nature and his childhood happiness are interwoven in many of his poems--especially the many beautiful verses for the children. Riley, the Hoosier poet, has made us see the value of sweet memories of childhood days and changed their lives through his love for them.
