Powers (illustrator). 248 pages; 5 1/2 x 8 1/4" 4" surface tear on front board that has been inked out; spine is slightly shelf-cocked; wear to spine and board edges and corners; tape reinforcing endpapers at spine; stamping and barcode sticker on first page; pocket glued to last page; stamping on top page edge and title page; 2" tear on jacket spine long edge; jacket spine edges and corners are lightly worn; jacket in mylar sleeve. Otherwise text block is in very good- condition.

Condition: Good. 1957. 2nd Impression. 190 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over green cloth. Colour illustrated frontispiece. Binding remains firm. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Light sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Unclipped jacket has moderate edgewear with chips, tears, and creasing. Pencil inscription to front flap. Light tanning to spine and edges. Foxing overall.

Dust jacket not price-clipped; light wear and tear to edges and corners. A little faint foxing to page fore-edges. A couple of small discolouration spots to title page; otherwise, a clean, tidy copy.
