Beautifully signed and illustrated with shark doodle at endpaper: "For Ricardo. Eight years late and very cheap - Nothing sells for 6.95 any more. Peter Benchley, 6-2-82." Stylish inscription and humored protrayal of the great white monster. Signed by legendary surfer originally of Argentina at title page: "R. Mandojana, San Juan de Puerto Rico, Oct. '74." Very unique and charming plate features illustration of Japanese ocean canoes encountering waves of tidal size with Mount Fuji in b.g.
