Juste au moment où il allait se marier (avec une autre, évidemment !) Tout ça occasionne beaucoup de frais. Tout ce que demande Gilbert, c'est de prendre la place de son supérieur hiérarchique pour bénéficier de son salaire. Oui, mais comment ? Gilbert se creuse la tête. Et un beau jour, brusquement, en regardant une partie de billard. Les livres de Fred Kassak offrent cette qualité rare et d'autant plus appréciable d'être à la fois romans policiers et romans de murs. CARAMBOLAGES n'échappe pas à cette règle ni au mécanisme implacable qui fait de chaque roman de Kassak une merveille de précision, de suspense et d'humour. A la limite de l'amoral CARAMBOLAGES est un "divertissement" quelque peu libertin, comme on regrette de ne plus avoir assez souvent l'occasion d'en lire.
