This copy was presented to a resident of Lexington, SC, by the Hon. A. F. Lever in 1910. Anthony Francis Lever was a South Carolina Congressman, and presented one of the speeches printed in this book. The presentation is, "To F.E. Brodie from Hon. A.F. Lever December 1910". The full title of this book is Proceedings in Statuary Hall and the Senate and the House of Reprentatives upon the Unveiling, Reception, and Acceptance from the State of South Carolina of the Statue of Hon.
