Publisher unstated, but Ridinghouse's John Stezaker resource (2010) suggests this was published to coincide with the artist's first solo show at the Sigi Krauss Gallery in London. Contains many illustrations and diagrams for visual works involving photographs and film projectors, alongside linguistic/semantic conceptual experiments. Precedes the artist's work with collage material. Bound with a plastic clasp. Edges a little tanned, otherwise very good condition.

An extraordinary early conceptual documentation of the artist's experiments with film, with sections on 'Film as Footage' and 'Footage as Film' (predating the artist's collage work). The second section of this publication details a linguistic exercise: a performance artwork involving transcription and re-transcription of an essay read aloud. Extremely rare, unrecorded in Ridinghouse's 2010 John Stezaker bibliography. In 'A History of Artists' Film and Video in Britain', researcher David Curtis cites the "only tangible" notes on Time Deletions to be the 1975 RCA catalogue for Codes and Structures, which this document precedes by five years, and which constitute the original instructional score. Covers slightly foxed, otherwise very good.
