Contributors to the book include Jonas Mekas, Achille Bonito Olivia, Lorenzo Mango, and Ira Cohen. The latter half of the volume is made up of work exhibited in Labiri…nti, by artists such as La Monte Young, Marian Zazeela, Rudolf Schwarzkogler, Robert Rauschenberg, Hermann Nitsch, Jean Jacques Lebel, and others. This copy belonged to Ira Cohen and was signed by many of the artists in and involved with the exhibition, including Judith Malina, John Giorno, Geoffrey Hendricks, Sylvano Bussotti, and Cohen himself. Loosely inserted are various pieces of ephemera likely collected by Cohen during the exhibition. First edition. Offset, with multiple holograph inscriptions. Perfect bound in wraps, with photo-illustrated dust jacket. Five documents laid in. 11 x 9 1/2 in. 385 pp. Text in English and Italian. Signed by various artists. Very good; dustjacket with light discoloration and two closed tears at head.
