Hrsg. vom Radirverein zu Weimar (Weimar: Gesellschaft für Radirkunst 1877-1914). Guter Gesamtzustand.Max Asperger (1864 Apolda - 1924 Gotha). Deutscher Landschaftsmaler und Radierer. 1883-91 Studium an der Weimarer Akademie bei Woldemar Friedrich und Theodor von Hagen. 1890-95 Lehrer an der Großherzoglichen Zeichenschule Weimar. 1891 Schriftführer des Radiervereins in Weimar. Ab 1895 Lehrer an der gewerblichen Fortbildungsschule in Gotha. 1897 zusammen mit Carl Arp sechs Radierungen der Folge Taormina. Seine Heimatdarstellungen kennzeichnet ein stimmungsvoll-duftiger, bisweilen impressionistischer Duktus. Nicht handsigniert. In der Blattecke rechts unten in Bleistift von fremder Hand bezeichnet. 10,8 x 16,0 cm (Darstellung), 12,3 x 17,6 cm (Platte), 35 x 30 cm (Blatt).
