Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. First UK edition, first printing ("First published 1961" - on the copyright page). Hardcover bound in bright yellowish-orange cloth, spine lettered in glossy blue; dust jacket not price-clipped; there is one very narrow one-inch long chip on the bottom front edge [photo], though the thin plastic surface of the jacket, which covers all but the flaps, does not show the effect of the chip. SIGNED on title page [photo], this appeaars to be in pencil. One curious extra factor is that the dedication "To Hazel" on the page following the title pages seems to be lightly scribbled over by the same pencil. I do not understand the significance of this. Five photos attached, more available by request. This book is very close to being "Like New" and appears never read. Signed by Author(s).
