The Knapp Dray Line was located in Kalispell, Montana and was established by Benjamin F. Knapp in 1898. The freight company was advertised as the "Knapp Transfer Company" in 1898 and "Dray, Transfer and Fuel" in 1909. Knapp Transfer Company became the largest draying outfit in the city of Kalispell. Benjamin Knapp sold his business in 1909 and in 1918 left Montana for Waterloo, Iowa where he lived until his death in 1941. This neat advertisement depicts four photographs of Knapp's draying wagons, a portrait of Knapp and decorative lettering promoting his business.
