Condition: Buono (Good). 0. Cm. 24, pp. viii, 119 (1). Bellissima vignetta incisa in rame al frontespizio; testatine e bei finalini xilografici. Legatura strettamente coeva in cartonato alla rustica con nervi passanti e titoli manoscritti al dorso. Minimi segni del tempo alla legatura, arrossature/fioriture sparse, strappetto (che non interessa il testo) all'angolo alto dell'ultima carta, peraltro nel complesso buon esemplare, ancora in barbe. Francesco d'Aguirre (1682-1753), intellettuale e giurista originario di Salemi, fu tra i principali artefici della riforma e modernizzazione dell'Università di Torino, tanto che il suo schema operativo fu utilizzato da Napoleone per la riforma della Sorbona di parigi. Questo interessantissimo trattato sul diritto d'asilo fu pubblicato postumo grazie alle cure del giurista fiorentino Pompeo Neri (1706-1776), considerato tra i principali artefici delle politiche riformiste degli Asburgo-Lorena, sovrani del Granducato di Toscana.
