Near fine with light wear to bottom of cloth in VG dj, price clipped, top 1 1/4 " of dj spine gone also some light spotting but still colorful. Lithographed color illustations inside are also bright. Story of a seventh child who turned out lazy until a wise old woman in the deep forest transforms her. Sort of a folktale Eastern European fable with illustrations of the young girl in ethnic dresses in a forest full of animals and birds that talk to her. Seredy was born in Hungary and the folk tales and costumes of that region influence her work.
