Hard Cover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Presumed First Edition. No date given but letter from author pasted onto rear ep reads 1891. Book has brown boards with gilt lettering, black design and gilt page edges. Boards have bumped corners, rubbing to edges, corners and hinges, darkening to & rubbing to lettering on spine, a little loss and fraying to cloth to head and foot of spine and some small marks to board faces. Small watermarks to edges of front and rear eps, previous owner's name on fep, bookplate on fep, light spotting to first and last few pages and interior of rear hinge a little cracked. Text tight, bright and clean, a really nice copy with the letter pasted onto rear fep. Signed by Author.
