First Edition (& 1st printing). Original blue cloth lettered and decorated in gold. 8°, 156 pp., Frontispiece and 39 plates, line drawings in the text. This copy is Signed by the Author on the half-title leaf. Small unused book label on front free endpaper; a very good clean copy, in the original colour pictorial dust jacket. The jacket has unfortunately had some internal tape repair and reinforcement sometime in the past which has resulted in small browned sections visible at the tips and folds from the effect of the acidic tape; there are a few small chips but the colour illustrated dust jacket is still bright and attractive.
