AFTER TAMARA DE LEMPICKA Original Acrylic Painting France, c.1999 A striking original acrylic painting inspired by the celebrated Art Deco style of Tamara de Lempicka. Acquired directly from a French art student in Paris in 1999 and professionally framed shortly thereafter, the painting has remained in private ownership ever since. The composition depicts two elegantly stylised female figures rendered in luminous shades of turquoise, black, cream and red. Whilst clearly influenced by Lempicka's distinctive visual language, the work presents an original interpretation rather than a direct copy of any single composition. Beautifully framed and possessing considerable decorative impact, the painting captures the glamour, confidence and sophistication associated with the Art Deco movement. - Thank you for your interest.
