Trow: cover portrait, its repro on half title, 11 full-page sketches (one being a double-spread) of characters in the Lestrade series of novels; plus full-page comments on 8 Lestrade novels, [20] pages. Meirion James Trow (born 1949) writes mysteries under the name M. J. Trow. A former history teacher, Trow has written one historical series based on Kit Marlowe, and a series about a contemporary teacher-turned-sleuth named Peter Maxwell. His "Inspector Lestrade" series is based on the wellknown character from the Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. This fragile illustrated overview piece of ephemera by Trow is VERY SCARCE. EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION in all respects! No remainder marks!
