Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Please see photos for condition details. Hardcover, original Lane stamped brown cloth boards show fading along the edges and spine along with spotting and handling wear. The text portion of the internal binding is good although there is pulling and a small tear at the front board hinge. There are no signatures or bookplates, no library markings etc. The front pastedown contains the remnants of an old bookstore label and price in the upper side corner. The pages are toned due to age and foxing/spotting is present throughout. There is a dampstain present on the top of the pages that gets progressively larger as it goes to the end. The image showing page 185 is the largest the dampstain gets.
