Cloth. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Hardback: very nice original bindings, dark-blue binding with quite bright gilt titles & patterns to spine ; all seven volumes, are matching and in . similar condition. Most are about 768 pages long, one is 700 pages long. Most have v.v. light foxing to the backs of both free endpapers. Vo…l.1, presumably as on end, is the worst as it has been stained around the edges of the back board, and slightly at top of spine, and this has caused a light water stain to the corner areas of both back endpapers, about one square inch at bottom, and 3x2 inches at top. Vol.2 has small stain/mark to back board near bottom edge. Vol.3 has only tiny minor dull stains hardly visible. Vol.4 has small 3/8 diam. stain on front; Vol. 5 is OK; Vol.6 seems OK. Vol.7 has v. small v. faint 3/8 diam. stain on front and v. small faint 1/4 inch stain on spine. This IS an attractive set despite my brutal description! All are clean and tight. HEAVY books so extra postage or maybe bespoke arrangement, if UK.
