Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Much wear to the covers which have a (paint?) stain front and rear, edge worn, corners worn. Follows the 107th Naval Construction Battalion from Camp Peary, Williamsburg, Virginia to the island of Tinian where they participated in the construction of a harbor and airfields large enough to handle B-29 Bombers. The bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki launched from these airfields. Every effort is made to ship all books and other items within 24 hours.
