A leather bound volume measuring 10 inches tall approx., with around ninety seven used pages, packed…with fascinating information of the everyday activities aboard ship and its runs, Places mentioned that were visited by the ship include, Lowestoft, Dungeness, Southampton, Cowes, Southsea, London, Ramsgate, Harwich, Hastings, Dover, Folkestone, Rye, hove, Eastbourne, Newhaven, Paignton, Portsmouth, etc Some very interesting entries, including seeing the fleet and Troop ships at Portsmouth, including the ship H.M.S. Victory, and the H.M.S. Edinburgh with the Prince of Wales onboard, also mentioning a crew member named Griffiths taking photographs of H.M.S. Collingwood, Devastation and Ajax, And many other entries over a 11-Year-Period. The binding is heavily rubbed as you would expect from 11 years of use at sea, but remains in very good general condition.
